A two-day seminar, the High Road To Education (HRTE) combines interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice. The goal says seminar organizer Tammy Warner, is to bring a diverse group of experienced, successful nail professionals together in one place and have them share their knowledge, techniques, and insights with other technicians.
“What makes the HRTE unique is the diverse nature and expertise of the educators,” says Warner. “Each has a recognized specialty. Some will focus on techniques, demonstrating effective ways to create perfect smile lines, for example. Others may discuss methods for working with alternative products, like gels.” Past educators have included Joseph Pham, Gina Silvestro, Rhonda McCarthy, and Loni Preato.
A few of the topics covered are back-to-basics with filing, form and tip placement, embedding, nail art, reverse French method, proper C-curve pinching, tricks with unusual tools, fast and efficient fills, glitter toes, and business-building ideas. “Topics are diverse enough to ensure that everyone learns something, regardless of their current skill level,” says Warner.
“The Ultimate 2-Day Class” will come to San Jose, Calif., on Feb. 15-16, Buffalo, N.Y., on March 22-23, Chicago on April 26-27, and Nashville, Tenn., on May 17-18. For more information, go to www.thehrte.com or e-mail tammy@theHRTE.com.
