The Jessica Flash Fusion starter kit comes with Fusion Primer, Flash-off Remover, Brush Cleaner, six Colour Activators, six replacement polish brushes, and a dappen dish.
Jessica Cosmetics’ Flash Fusion 2.5.2 System is a color-activated, fast-drying polish system. The 2.5.2 stands for “2” steps (using the primer and the Colour Activator polish), applied in “5” minutes, and can be soaked off in “2” minutes.
I had on Jessica's Mercurial Colour Activator polish.
Jessica national educator Kandice Astamendi from Performance Nails in Glendale, Calif., performed a Flash pedicure on me using the Flash Fusion System and within five minutes, my toes were polished and dry.
UV-curing is not needed with this system, nor is top coat. The magic happens between the two-step primer and color-activating polish. The primer is used as the base and also used between the two thin coats of Colour Activator polish. Astamendi says that a Flash service stays on days longer than regular polish with the same shine you can expect from Jessica.
You do have to take some extra maintenance steps when using this system. Since the product dries quickly, Astamendi suggests wiping and cleaning the Colour Activator polish brushes in a dappen dish using the Brush Cleaner after all ten nails have been polished. If the brush starts to harden, you can repeat the cleaning process or replace the brush. The Flash Fusion kit also comes with extra brushes. For more information, visit

After my five-minute demo, I put my sock and boot back on and went on my way.
